The guest-house Al Canal Regio is tucked away in a secluded and quiet corner of Venice, among the narrow calli and historic residences of the Cannaregio district, with its sweeping views of the canal and quiet overlooking the inner courtyard.
Behind it runs Strada Nova, the city's main pedestrian artery, which in a matter of minutes leads to the Rialto Bridge and then to St. Mark's Square.
A privileged location, at the same time quiet and central, very close to the best-known tourist attractions, but also to the lively bars where Venetians love to go for bàcari to enjoy a glass of wine and the delicious cicchetti of the local cuisine.
Perfect for those who like to get around on foot, the location of our guest-house is also very convenient for getting around on the water: the vaporetto stop-which connects Piazzale Roma to St. Mark's Square and then to the Lido-is only a three-minute walk away; the Fondamente Nove area-from which the vaporettos to Murano and Burano depart-is just over ten minutes away.
